The 29th December 2010

S.O. 251, dated the 30th December 2010—WHEREAS Shri Umesh Prasad S/O Sri Vyas

Prasad, 57- Naga Road Raxual, P.O- Raxual, P.S.- Raxual, District- East Champaran (Motihari)

who was ordered to be detained under the Conservation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of

Smuggling Activities Act, 1974 (No. 52/1974) vide Government of Bihar, Home (Special)

Department Order No. 2066 dated 9th April 2009 issued under sub section (i) of Section 3 of the

said Act, which could not be served;

AND, WHEREAS, the State Government has reason to believe that he has been absconding

and is concealing himself so that the said detention order cannot be executed;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (i) of-

Section 7 of the said Act, the State Government has been pleased to direct the said Shri Umesh

Prasad to appear before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran (Motihari) within thirty

days from the date of publication of this notification in official gazette, failing which he shall be

liable for punishment specified in the said Section.
