No. C/LA-2/2007/7622/J.—In exercise of the Powers Conferred Under

Section 28 of the Legal Services Authority Act, 1987 (39 Act of 1987) the

Governor of Bihar in consultation with the Chief Justice of the High Court of

Judicature, Patna is pleased to make the following rules namely :-

1. Short title, extant and commencement.—(1) These Rules may be called

the Bihar State Legal Services Authority (Amendment) Rules, 2011.

(2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Bihar.

(3) It shall come into force at once.

2. Amendment of Section-16.—The words and figures "Rs. 50,000 (Fifty

Thousand)" used in Rule-16 shall be substituted by the words and figures "Rs.

1,00,000 (One Lakh)".
