Section-9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 the Governor of Bihar is hereby pleased to make the following

amendment in Standing Order No.-I/M1-190/2005-737, dated 10th March 2007 of Department of

Registration, Government of Bihar: --

AMENDMENT: - Para-7 of the order shall be substituted by the following: --

"7 (1) The period of exemption shall remain effective up to a period of 5 years from the date

mentioned in para-5 of the said order.

(2) The period of exemption shall remain effective till the antecedent date before the

enforcement date 1st July 2011 of Industrial Incentive Policy, 2011 from the date

mentioned in para-6."

of Section-9 of the Indian Stamp Act 1899 stamp duty is exempted by the Governor of Bihar under

Industrial Incentive Policy 2011 on the following class of documents up to the limits as shown against

them: -

2. The aforesaid exemption shall be permitted on the first transaction.

3. This exemption shall be valid for five years from 1st July 2011.

4. Those units which have purchased land by lease/sale/transfer deeds for establishing industries

and have not availed the exemption shall be eligible for refund of the amount equal to exemption allowed

after post productive stage on the production of authority letter and certificate of production by the

Industries Department.

5. The above exemption shall be permitted on an authority issued for this purpose in the name of

investors by the Department of Industries with details of land and its location.

6. In case, the private investor after getting the benefit of exemption for establishing industries do

not follow intoto prescribed industrial policies of the State Government regarding the investment, the

amount of exemption shall be recovered from the investor by the Department of Industries.

No. I/M¹- 190/2005-3217—In exercise of the powers conferred by section-78 of the Registration

Act 1908, the Governor of Bihar under Industrial Incentive Policy 2011 by an amendment in the Table of

Fee published vide S.O.No. 900, dated 18th December 1990, is pleased to exempt the Registration fee as

follows with immediate effect.-
