No. II/M1- 182/2009-1602—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section-

9(1)(b) of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 the Governor of Bihar is pleased to order for

consolidated payment of stamp duty for Rs. 1,67,06,000 (Rupees one crore sixty seven

lakh six thousand) for payment of Indian Insurance Stamps on Insurance policies to the

Regional Manager (Actuarial), East Central Zonal Office, Life Insurance Corporation of

India, Jeevan Deep, Exhibition Road, Patna.

2. For payment of consolidated stamp duty of above amount Rs. 1,67,06,000

(Rupees one crore sixty seven lakh six thousand) shall be paid in the receipt head of the

fee-02-Stamp

Non-Judicial-800-Other

Receipts-0001-Total Receipt - Bill Code-0030028000001” by the East Central Zonal

Office, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Jeevan Deep, Exhibition Road, Patna

through treasury challan at State Bank of India, Main Branch, Patna.

3. On the request of Life Insurance Corporation of India to deposit the sum on

quarter basis in lieu of onetime, the amount deposited vide treasury challan Rs.

1,67,06,000 (Rupees one crore sixty seven lakh six thousand) for January 2011 to March

2011 corporation is allowed to use the insurance stamp till March 2011.

4. The corporation will be authorized to use the insurance stamp after deposit of

the sum in the specified head in above column-2 for April 2011 to June 2011.

5. The unused deposited sum of the current financial year will be adjusted in

coming financial year.
