The 29^th December 2011

No. I/M¹- 180/2011-3930—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 78 of

the Registration Act 1908, the Governor of Bihar under Information & Communication

Technology Policy 2011 by an amendment in the Table of Fee published vide S.O.No.

900, dated 18^th December 1990, is pleased to exempt the Registration fee as follows with

immediate effect.—

of land in the industrial area/shed/IT

Park/Industries and outside the authority

area for the purpose of establishing

IT/ITES/EHM Units

on the effective rate.

(ii)

The Registration fee for registering

deeds related to lease/ purchase/ transfer

of additional land for expansion or

diversification of existing IT/ITES/EHM

Units which are already established and

make more than fifty percent (50%)

growth in their production capacity.

100% (Hundred percent) exemption

on the effective rate.

02. All other fees such as LLR fee/Process fee/Copying fee and service charges for

computerized registration except Registration fee shall be payable as per rules.

03. The aforesaid exemption shall be permitted only on the first transaction.

04. This exemption shall be valid from the date of enforcement of Information &

Communication Technology Policy 2011 till its effective date.

05. Those units which have purchased land by lease/sale/transfer deeds for establishing

units and have not availed the exemption shall be eligible for refund of the amount

equal to exemption allowed after post productive stage on the production of

authority letter and certificate of production by the Information Technology

Department..

06. The above exemption shall be permitted on an authority issued for this purpose in

the name of investors by the Department of Information Technology with details of

land and its location.

07. In case, the private investor after getting the benefit of exemption for establishing

units do not follow intoto prescribed Information & Communication Technology

policy of the State Government regarding the investment, the amount of exemption

shall be recovered from the investor by the Department of Information Technology.
