No.-N/gri.vi.ni.-court case-05/98-- 165—For compliance of the order dated 27.08.2012 passed by

Hon'ble Patna High Court in CWJC No. 2872/2012-Bhawani Devi V/s Govt. of Bihar and others, the State

Govt. of Bihar is here by pleased to take the following decision substituting the rule 4 of "Rules For Grant

of Pension To Political Sufferer, 1953" by the following :-

" 4- The amount of pension will be determind in each case under sub clauses (i), (ii), (iii) and

(iv) of rule 2 in accordance with the amount of pension granted under Swatantrata Sainik Samman

Pension (SSSP) scheme 1980 of Govt. of India.

Note:- (1) Persons granted pensions under these rules will be eligible to receive Dearness

relief admissible to pensioners of Swatantrata Sainik Samman Pension (SSSP)

scheme 1980."

1. The Political Sufferer pension granted under "Rules For Grant of Pension To Political Sufferer,

1953" shall be revised from date of issue of this notification in accordance with the rate of pension

sanctioned by Govt. of India under the Swantantrata Sainik Samman Pension scheme, 1980 (SSSPs) in

conformity to the provisions substituted as hereabove Basic of Rs 6330 (six thousand three hundred and

thirty) w.e.f. 02.10.2006 and Dearness Relief @ 143 % of the basic pension w.e.f. 01.08.2011 is sanctioned

under SSSPs.

2. In compliance of the order dated 27.08.2012 of the Hon'ble Patna Hight Court in CWJC No.

2872/2012. The Political sufferer pension sanctioned to Smt. Bhawani Devi, W/o Late Nageswar Singh,

Vill.-Trilokchak, P.o-Dighwara, Distt.-Saran shall be revised w.e.f. form 16.03.1969 at the rate mentioned

below and paid accordingly alongwith the arrear thereof :-

Rupees 100 per month w.e.f. 16.03.1969

Rupees 200 per month w.e.f. 15.08.1972

Rupees 300 per month w.e.f. 01.08.1980

Rupees 3000 per month w.e.f. 01.08.1998

Rupees 4000 per month w.e.f. 15.08.2005

Rupees 6330 per month w.e.f. 02.10.2006

Dearness relief shall be admissible on the pension at the rate allowed by the Govt. of India

under SSSPs from time to time as below :-
