G.S.R. 4, dated the 19th August 2013— In exercise of the powers conferred by

section-3 of the Essential Commodities Act 1955 (Central Act 10 of 1955) read with the

order of the Goverment of India in the ministry of Consumer Affair, Food and Public

Distribution published under order No. 2227(E) Dated 27^th September, 2011 and in view

of Removal of (Licensing Requirements, Stock Limit and Movement Restrictions) on

Specified Foodstuffs (Amendment) order 2011, with prior concurrence of Government of

India, in the words and expressions used in respect of purchase, movement, sale, supply,

distribution or storage for sale in the Removal of (Licensing Requirements Stock Limits

and Movement Restrictions) on Specified Foodstuffs order 2002 shall be kept in abeyance

for commodities, namely, Edible Oil and Edible Oilseed for a further period upto

30^th September, 2012 from the date of commencement of this order.

2. The deletion of Edible Oil and Edible Oilseed from schedule-1, in Bihar Trade

Article (Licences Unification) order-1984 vide departmental notification no. 2354, dated

15^th July, 2003 shall be kept in abeyance upto 30^th September, 2012.

3. The validity of the departmental notification issued vide memo no. 2596 dated

13.04.2011 is extended upto 30^th September, 2012.

4. Previously issued corresponding notifications/orders shall deem to be

amended upto this extent.

5. This notification shall come into force at once.
