No. 01/Ni.(Vividh)-194/2013-2149—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section-

38(1) of The Road Transport Act, 1950, State Government had superseded the Bihar State

Road Transport Corporation vide Notification No.4609 dated 12-10-1999 for four years

from the date of Notification i.e. from 12.10.1999 with prior approval of the Central

Government. Again the supersession period of the Corporation has been extended from

dated 12.10.2003 to dated 31.03.2014 vide department's Notification No-6732 dated

31.12.2013.

Affairs of the Corporation are being conducted by the Administrator duly appointed

by the State Government. The State Government is satisfied that it is necessary to keep the

corporation in superseded stage.

And whereas, it is necessary to extend the supersession period from

01.04.2014 to 31.03.2015.

So, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 38(1) read with section 38(3) (a)

of The Road Transport Act, 1950, the supersession period of the Bihar State Road Transport

Corporation is being extended from the date 01.04.2014 to 31.03.2015.
