The 28th August 2014

S.O. 359, dated the 29th August 2014—In exercise of the powers conferred by

clause (a) of Sub- Section (1) of Section 3 of the Family Courts Act-1984 (Act-66 of 1984)

the State Government, after Consultation with the High Court of Judicature at Patna, is

pleased to establish a Court of Principal Judge, Family Court at Araria for the purpose of

excercising jurisdiction and powers conferred on Family Courts. The Family Court at Araria

shall exercise jurisdiction over the matter arising within the revenue-limits of Araria District

with effect from 06th September 2014 and Principal Judge, Family Court, Purnea will cease

to have jurisdiction on such matter from 06th September 2014.
