The 9th September 2014

S.O. 365, dated the 11th September 2014— In exercise of the powers conferred by

clause (a) of Sub- Section (1) of Section 3 of the Family Courts Act-1984 (Act-66 of 1984)

the State Government, after Consultation with the High Court of Judicature at Patna, is

pleased to establish a Court of Principal Judge, Family Court at Lakhisarai for the purpose

of excercising jurisdiction and powers conferred on Family Courts. The Family Court at

Lakhisarai shall exercise jurisdiction over the matter arising within the revenue-limits of

Lakhisarai and Sheikhpura District with effect from 20th September 2014 and Principal

Judge, Family Court, Munger will cease to have jurisdiction on such matter from 20th

September 2014.
