No. 11@mRikn uhfr&01&03@2014&1446—In exercise of powers conferred by section 90

of the Bihar Excise Act, 1915 (Bihar Act-II 1915) The Board of Revenue, Bihar is pleased

to make the following amendment in rules published under notification No. 23-137-2 dated

the 29^th April, 1919, and as amended from time to time, as follows:-

Amendments

The existing rules 106(C) and 106(CC) as amended by the Board’s Notification No.

1538 dated 07.12.2012 is amended as follows;-

106(C) India made Beer may be Imported in any place of Bihar, provided that

import pass fee at the rate of Rs.08(Rupee eight) per bottle (650ml) has been levied and

realized in the State of Bihar.

106(CC) India made Beer can be exported from the State of Bihar to any other State

of the Country only after realizing export pass fee at the rate of Rs. 01(Rupee one) per

Bottle (650 ml).

The provision “Provided that the Brewery in the State shall not export more than

50% of the Beer produced by in a month’’ is deleted.

(2) The existing Rule 113 substituted by notification No. 1295 dated 11.12.2004

amended as follows :-

The provision of ’’bottling license fee for Beer shall be the same as the ones

prevailing for similar licences for India made foreign liquor’’ is deleted and the bottling

licence fee for the Beer is substituted as Rs. 1.50 (One rupee fifty paise) per BL.
