Treasury Officer. Note of authority from Accountant General (Audit) to issue cheque will

not be necessary" shall be read as "Personal Ledger Account (P.L. Account) will be

operated by the authorised officer through Non-Government cheque which will be provided

by Accountant General (Audit) through Treasury Officer. Letter of authority from

Accountant General (Audit) to issue cheque will not be necessary".

The word Personal Deposit Account used in Para 3(2)(v) of notification issued vide

no. 6487/F. dated 21.07.2014 shall be read as Personal Ledger Account.

The said notification is corrected to this effect only from the date of issue of earlier

notification i.e. 21.07.2014.
