Nirvachan Sadan, Ashoka Road, New Delhi – 110001 Dated 31^St July, 2015/09 Shravana,

1937 (SAKA)

No.BR-LA/108/2010—WHEREAS, the Commission, vide its Order No. 76/BR-

LA/2010 dated 7^th August, 2014, had disqualified under Section 10A of the Representation

of the People Act, 1951, Shri Anil Kumar Singh, Vill+Post-Santhi, PS-Raghunathpur,

Dist-Siwan, Bihar, a contesting candidate for the General Election to the Bihar Legislative

Assembly from 108-Raghunathpur Assembly Constituency, held in the year 2010, for being

chosen as, and for being a member of either House of the People or of the Legislative

Assembly or Legislative Council of a State for a period of three years, for not lodging his

account of election expenses in the manner required by law.

AND, WHEREAS, the said Shri Anil Kumar Singh had preferred an appeal under

Section 11 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 against the said order and had

requested for the removal of the disqualification for the reasons stated in the said appeal

dated 3^rd September, 2014.

AND, WHEREAS, the competent authority decided to give a personal hearing to the

aforesaid applicant for deciding the appeal under section 11 of the Representation of People

Act, 1951 and having heard him, has decided, vide its order dated 31^st July, 2015 that the

disqualification imposed on said Shri Anil Kumar Singh, vide Order No. 76/BR-LA/2010

dated 7^th August, 2014, shall be revoked with immediate effect.

NOW, THEREFORE, the name of Shri Anil Kumar Singh, appearing at Serial no.

13 of the Table appended with Commission’s Order no. 76/BR-LA/2010 dated 7^th August,

2014, shall be omitted w.e.f. 31^st July, 2015.
