The 28^th September 2015

S.O. 267, dated the 30^th September 2015—Whereas vide Home (Special)

Department Notification No.-08/P.S.C./2015-650 Dated 23.08.2015/01.09.2015, the

Governor of Bihar was pleased to constitute an Enquiry Commission under the Commission

of Enquiry Act (No. 60, 1952) for inquiring into the lift trapped incident occurred in the

light of 21.08.2015 at Government Guest House, Patna. The term of the commission was

fixed for one month from the date of notification i.e. 23.08.2015 to 22.09.2015. Sri Shishir

Sinha, Principal Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat Department, Bihar, Patna, is The Chairman

of this Enquiry Commission.

2. Further, whereas, the Governor of Bihar is pleased to decide that in order to

complete the enquiry, the Commission requires to be given further extension of tenure from

23.09.2015 to 22.10.2015.

3. Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by section-3 of Act no. 60 of

1952, the Governor of Bihar is pleased to extend the period of the Commission of enquiry

from 23.09.2015 to 22.10.2015.
