The 4th December 2015

S.O. 356, dated the 7th December 2015—Whereas vide Home Department (Special)

Notification No. B/Pol.firing-01/2011-10868 Dated 22^nd June 2011, the Governor of Bihar

was pleased to constitute an Enquiry Commission under the Commission of Inquiry Act

(No. 60, 1952) for inquiring into the incident of police firing, which took place on 3^rd June,

2011 at Forbesganj under the Chairmanship of Shri Madhavendra Saran Hon’ble Justice

(Retd.) Patna High Court, Patna. The last time extention of commission was accorded vide

departmental Notification No. 9788 dt. 02.09.2015.

The commission has submitted its final enquiry report to the government on

27.11.2015, in the circumstances, the Forbesganj police Firing Judicial Inquiry Commission

is dissolved w.e. 01.12.2015.
