S.O. No.01 Dated 7^th January 2015—Whereas vide Home (Special) Department Notification

No.-B/Gen.Law&Ord.(Vaishali)-01/2015 Dated 18.11.2015 the Governor of Bihar was pleased to

constitute an Enquiry Commission under the Commission of Enquiry Act (No. 60, 1952) for

inquiring into the incidents that took place as a consequence of the accident in a house involving a

pick up van on 17.11.2015 in the village Agarpur under Police Station Lalganj of Vaishali District,

and subsequently on 18.11.2015 after arson by local villagers involving the house of the pick up van

driver and other leading to serious law & order problem and stone pelting, in which serious injuries

were caused to the O.P. In-charge of Belsar and other police men, resulting in police firing. The term

of the commission was fixed for one month from the date of notification i.e. 18.11.2015 to

17.12.2015. Sri Prem Singh Meena, IAS, Inspector General , Jail and Correctional Services, Bihar is

The Chairman of this Enquiry Commission and Sri Sunil Kumar, IPS, Inspector General (Budget

and Appeal), Bihar is member.

2. Further, whereas, the Governor of Bihar is pleased to decide that in order to complete the

enquiry, the Commission requires to be given further extension of tenure from 18.12.2015 to

17.01.2016.

3. Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by section-3 of Act no. 60 of 1952, the

Governor of Bihar is pleased to extend the period of the Commission of enquiry from 18.12.2015 to

17.01.2016.
