No. 6Pa/Pa.Ni.-14/2016/5696/P.R.—Whereas, the Government of Bihar has taken a decision

to hold election on the vacant posts of Member of Panchayat Samiti from territorial electoral

constituency no. 06, 09, 10, 15 and 16 of the Ghanshyampur Block under Darbhanga district and

Member of Panchayat Samiti from territorial electoral constituency no. 15 & 16 of Turkauliya Block

and Member of Panchayat Samiti from territorial electoral constituency no. 10 & 11 of Kalyanpur

Block under East Champaran district;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred U/S-124 of the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act,

2006, the Governor of Bihar, on the recommendation of the State Election Commission, Bihar,

Patna, is pleased hereby to fix 20^th September, 2016 as the date of poll to the said vacant seats of

Panchayat Samiti Member and requires that the voters will elect the respective office bearers.
