NO.-10/Ra. Classification-94/2016-5158—In exercise of the power conferred by clause (a)

and (aa) of sub Section (1) of Section 69 of the Registration Act, 1908 (as amended from time to

time) the Inspector General of Registration, with the approval of the Government of Bihar, makes

following Rules: -

THE BIHAR REGISTRATION (AMENDMENT) RULES, 2016.

1. Short title, extent and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Bihar

Registration (Amendment) Rules, 2016.

(2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Bihar.

(3) It shall come into force with effect from the date of notification.

2. Sl. No.-16 shall be added after Sl.No.-15 in the table given in sub-rule (1) of Rule-40 of

the Bihar Registration Rules, 2008, namely: -

3. The following Sl. No.-(6) shall be added after Sl.No.-(5) in the explanation given in

sub-rule (1) of Rule-40 of the Bihar Registration Rules, 2008, namely:-

"(6) The Inspector General of Registration can issue a detail instruction regarding

preparation of Land Classification Register."
