The 14^th October 2016

S.O. 281, dated 14^th October 2016—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1)

of Section 13 and sub-section (1) of Section 14 of the Bengal, Agra and Assam Civil Courts Act,

1887 (Act XII of 1887) and in modification of the all previous notifications and orders issued on the

subject, the Governor of Bihar is pleased to direct that:-

(a)

The Court of Subordinate Judge [Civil Judge (Senior Division)] of Pupri

Sub-division in the district of Sitamarhi shall be established at Pupri;

(b)

The Court of Munsif [Civil Judge (Junior Division)] previously constituted for

Pupri Sub-division and at present functioning at Sitamarhi shall be hereby relocated

at Pupri;

(c)

The jurisdiction of the Court of Subordinate Judge [Civil Judge (Senior Division)]

and the Court of Munsif [Civil Judge (Junior Division)] of Pupri Sub-division shall

be the entire local limits of the Sub-division of Pupri in the District of Sitamarhi;

(d)

The Court of Subordinate Judge [Civil Judge (Senior Division)] and the Court

of Munsif [Civil Judge (Junior Division)] of Pupri Sub-division, shall hold their sittings

at Pupri.

(e)

This Notification shall come into force with effect from dated the 22^nd October,

2016.
