No. 7/Pradhi-4/2016-1135—Bihar State School Teachers and Employees Dispute Redressal

Rules, 2015, provides that the State Appellate Authority shall be constituted at state level consisting

of two persons only (hereinafter, each referred to separately as Chairperson). The State Government

may authorise the Chairperson of one State Appellate Authority to discharge the functions of the

Chairperson of another State Appellate Authority.

At present, only one Chairperson is posted in the State Appellate Authority. Under the

circumstances as an alternative arrangement by exercising powers conferred by rule-20 of the Rules,

the State Appellate Authority is constituted with only one Chairperson. With the appointment and

posting of the Second Chairperson this alternative arrangement will automatically come to an end.
