by sec-211 of the Motor Vehicle Act 1988, (Act 59,1988) the Governor of Bihar desires to make the

following amendments in the Bihar Motor Vehicles Rules, 1992, Prior publication of which required

under section 212 of the Act has been done through G.S.R. No. 26, dated 27^th October 1995.

Draft of Amendment

In exercise of the powers conferred by sec-211 of the Motor Vehicle Act 1988, (Act

59,1988) the Governor of Bihar is pleased to make the following Rules to the Bihar Motor Vehicles

Rules, 1992, Prior publication of which as required under section 212 of the Act has been made by

Departmental G.S.R. No. ............. Dated.........................

Short title, extent and commencement:- (1) This rule may be called Bihar Motor

Vehicle (Amendment) rule, 2016. It shall come into force with immediate effect.

(2) It shall be enforced to the whole of the state of Bihar.

2. Rule-74 of Bihar Motor Vehicle Rules, 1992 shall be substituted by the following:-

4. The words "one thousand" used in sub-rule (9) of rule 101 of Bihar Motor Vehicle rules,

1992 shall be substituted by the words “Three thousand.”

5. The following new Rules 103 A & 103 B will be added respectively after rule 103 of

Bihar Motor Vehicle Rules, 1992:-

103 A. Acceptance of Agent licence:-

(1)

Licence fee for an Agent licence & renewal thereof under rule,

103 (4) of Bihar Motor Vehicle rule, 1992
