The 16^th December 2016

S.O.307, dated the 16^th December 2016—In exercise of the powers conferred by

Section 21 of Bihar Entertainments Tax Act, 1948, (Bihar Act XXXV of 1948), the

Governor of Bihar is pleased to order that sub-rule (1) of Rule 19A of Bihar Entertainments

Tax Rules, 1984 shall be substituted by the following:-

"(1) The consolidated amount of tax payable under Section 3AA shall be paid by the

proprietor of any Cable Service or Cable Television Network for each connection given to

the subscriber at the rate of fifty rupees per connection per month irrespective of the fact

that exhibition of programmes through Cable Service or Cable Television Network is

combined with any service or supply of any goods for which a lump sum is charged from a

person."

2. This notification shall come into force from the date of its issuance.
