The 25^th January 2017

No. MM-01/Mantriparishad-13/2011/105—In exercise of the powers conferred by

clause (3) of Article 166 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Bihar is pleased to

make the following amendment in the Rules of Executive Business, of Bihar, 1979

(Amended from time to time) with immediate effect :-

Amendment

1. The Words 'Class 2' and 'Secretary' mentioned in Rule 22(2) of Rules of

Executive Business, 1979 (Amended from time to time) shall be substituded by the words

'Group-B' and 'Principal Secertary/Secretary' respectively.

2. Rule 32(a)(ix)(i) and (ii) of the said rules, 1979 are hereby deleted.

3. Rule 32 (a)(xvii) of the said rules, 1979 is hereby deleted.

4. Provision of Serial No.22 of the Third Schedule of the said rules, 1979 is

substituted by the following :-

"22. Proposals for creation or abolition of all Posts irrespective of maximum Pay."

5. The Group of words mentioned in Third Schedule of Serial-27 of the said rules,

1979 'Proposal for Appointment..................................Pay of the post: Provided that' is

hereby deleted.

6. Provision of Serial No-28 of Third Schedule of the said rules, 1979 shall be

substituted by the following :-

"S.No.-28. Proposals relating to dismissal, removal or compulsary retirement of

Group 'A' and Group 'B' officers whose appointments have been made by the Government".

7. Provision of Serial No-30 of Third Schedule of the said rules, 1979 shall be

substituted by the following :-

"30. Proposals to grant special Pay to Group 'A' and Group 'B' officers".

8. The Following New Serial No-7 shall be added after Serial No-6 in Part B of the

Fourth Schedule of the said rules, 1979, :-
