conferred by Section- 11 of the Bihar Urban Planning and Development Act, 2012 read with Rule-11

of the Bihar Urban Planning and Development Rules, 2014, the Government of Bihar, hereby

constitutes the Planning Authority, which shall be known as “Gaya Planning Area Authority” to

prepare Master Plan and other Development Plans of Gaya Planning Area, its implementation and

for other lawful actions, and it shall be constituted consisting of the followings :-

Divisional Commissioner, Magadh Division, Gaya

- Chairman

(ii)

District Magistrate, Gaya

- Vice Chairman

(iii)

Chief Town Planner or representative,

Town and Country Planning Organisation

(iv)

Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Gaya Corporation,

Member

(v)

Deputy Development Commissioner, Gaya

Member

(vi)

Additional Collector (Revenue), Gaya

Member

(vii)

Concerned Executive Engineer, Road Construction

Department, Road Division, Gaya

(viii) Concerned Executive Engineer, Public Health

Engineering Department, Public Health Division, Gaya

Concerned Executive Engineer, Rural Works Department,

Persons who possess special knowledge or practical

Names of persons mentioned in sub clause (x) shall be notified by the Urban Development

and Housing Department.

2. Sub Divisional Officer, Gaya shall be the Chief Executive Officer cum Member Secretary

of this Planning Authority. Office of the Sub Divisional Officer, Gaya shall be the office of the

Authority at present.

3. The Authority shall exercise the powers prescribed in the Bihar Urban Planning and

Development Act, 2012 and the Bihar Urban Planning and Development Rules, 2014 for execution

of its duties.

This notification will come into force at once.
