exercise

the

powers conferred by Section - 11 of the Bihar Urban Planning and Development Act, 2012 read

with Rule-11 of the Bihar Urban Planning and Development Rules, 2014, the Government of

Bihar hereby constitutes the Planning Authority, which shall be known as “Saharsa Planning

Area Authority” to prepare Master Plan and other Development Plans of Saharsa Planning Area,

its implementation and for other lawful actions, and it shall be constituted consisting of the

followings :-

Divisional Commissioner, Koshi Division, Saharsa

&

Chairman

(ii)

District Magistrate, Saharsa

&

Vice

Chairman

(iii)

Chief Town Planner or representative, Town and Country

Planning Organisation

&

Member

(iv)

Executive Officer, Nagar Parishad Saharsa

Member

(v)

Deputy Development Commissioner, Saharsa

(vi)

Additional Collector (Revenue), Saharsa

(vii)

Concerned

Sub Divisional officer, Saharsa shall be the Chief Executive Officer cum Member

Secretary of this Planning Authority. Office of the Sub Divisional officer, Sub Divisional officer,

Saharsa shall be the office of the Authority at present.

3.

The Authority shall exercise the powers prescribed in the Bihar Urban Planning and

Development Act, 2012 and the Bihar Urban Planning and Development Rules, 2014 for

execution of its duties.

This notification will come into force at once.
