No.-11@uŒfoŒ@ekŒIyku¼vkŒ{ksŒ½&21/2016-830/UD&HD—in exercise of the powers conferred

by Section-11 of the Bihar Urban Planning and Development Act, 2012 read with Rule-11 of the

Bihar Urban Planning and Development Rules, 2014, the Government. of Bihar, hereby constitutes

the Planning Authority, which shall be known as “Biharsharif Planning Area Authority”, to

prepare Master Plan and other Development Plans of Biharsharif Planning Area, its implementation

and for other lawful actions, and it shall be constituted consisting of the followings :-

(i)

Divisional Commissioner, Patna Division, Patna

- Chairman

(ii)

District Magistrate, Nalanda, Biharsharif

- Vice Chairman

(iii)

Chief Town Planner or representative,

Town and Country Planning Organisation

- Member

(iv)

Municipal Commissioner, Biharsharif Municipal Corporation - Member

(v)

Deputy Development Commissioner, Biharsharif

- Member

(vi)

Additional Collector (Revenue), Nalanda, Biharsharif

- Member

(vii)

Concerned Executive Engineer,

Road Construction Department, Road Division, Biharsharif

- Member

(viii)

Concerned Executive Engineer, Public Health

Engineering Department, Public Health Division, Biharsharif

- Member

(ix)

Concerned Executive Engineer,

Rural Works Department, Works Division, Biharsharif

- Member

(x)

Persons who possess special knowledge or practical

experience in town planning appointed by State

Government not exceeding two

(xi)

Chief Executive Officer,

- Member Secretary

Biharsharif Planning Area Authority

Names of persons mentioned in sub clause (x) shall be notified by the Urban Development

and Housing Department.

2. Sub Divisional officer, Biharsharif shall be the Chief Executive Officer cum Member

Secretary of this Planning Authority. Office of the Sub Divisional officer, Biharsharif shall be the

office of the Authority at present.

3. The Authority shall exercise the powers prescribed in the Bihar Urban Planning and

Development Act, 2012 and the Bihar Urban Planning and Development Rules, 2014 for execution

of its duties.

This notification will come into force at once.
