No.-M-4-12/2015(Part)-8327 /F—In exercise of the powers conferred under Article 283(2)

of the India Constitution, the Governor of Bihar is pleased to make the following Rules to amend the

Bihar Financial Rules, 1950 (as amended from time to time):-

1. Short title, extent and commencement—

(1) These may be called The Bihar Financial (Amendment) Rule, 2017.

(2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Bihar.

(3) It shall come into force at once.

2. The following subrule (xx) shall be added after subrule (xix) of Rule 30 of the Bihar

Finanacial Rules, 1950:-

"(xxi) The Women/Women Self Help Groups, fullfilling prescribed qualifications,

conditions and specifications of the tender, will be given priority incase of their bid equivalent to the

other lowest bidder."
