No.- G/Sena-05-04/2016-9641—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section 1 of

section 9 of the Manoeuvres Field Firing and Artillary Practices Act, 1938 (Act 5 of 1938), the

Governor of Bihar is pleased to define the following area, map, boundary and particulars of which

are given herewith, as filed firing and artillery practice area for the 10 years commencing from 1^st

December, 2017 to 30^th November, 2027, with immediate effect.

Schedule-1

Particulars and boundary of the land-area.

150 acre land in village-Jhanpaha, P.S. No.-594, Jamabandi No. 4582, Circle-Bochaha,

District-Muzaffarpur have been acquired on 05.11.1999 for construction of Group Centre of Central

Reserve Police Force and its boundary fencing has been constructed. 100 meter baffle firing range is

situated on plot (Kheshra) No. 5433 Khata No. 32 area 27.80 acre within said acquired land.

Detailed description of villages situated nearby outside of the boundary of the said firing range is

given below:-

East- National Highway No. 77 is about 150 meters from the firing range which divides Group

Centre of Central Reserve Police Force, Muzaffarpur in two parts.

West- Gangati village is situated at the distance of about 400 meters from the firing range.

North- The boundary wall of the Group Centre is adjacent to the firing range and on its outside

there is metalled road. At the distance of about 400 meters from the firing range, Physical

Training Institute of Government of Bihar and Kumhar Tola, Mohammadpur, village is

situated.

South- Land and orchard of Group Centre, Central Reserve Police Force is situated upto 250 meters

from the firing range.
