The 8^th January 2018

S.O 117 Dated 10^th January 2018— In addition to the post of Deputy Labour Commissioner,

Munger Division under Munger District, a post of Deputy Labour Commissioner, Begusarai has

been created. As there is two post of Deputy Labour Commissioner under Munger Division for that

reason it is necessary to create a post of compensation commissioner under Employee’s

Compensation Act. 1923 (As Amended 2009 Payment of Gratuity Act 1972.

2. In exercise of the Powers conferred under sub section (1) of section 20 of Employee’s

Compensation Act 1923 (The Employee’s Compensation [Amendment] Act 2009 and Section 3 of

Payment of Gratuity Act 1972, the Governor of Bihar is pleased to appoint Deputy Labour

Commissioner in the column-2 as Compensation Commissioner and Controlling Authority within

the Jurisdiction of Deputy Labour Commissioner as mentioned in column 4.
