The 2nd February 2018

S.O. 145, dated the 6^th February 2018— In exercise of power conferred by section 22(h) of

the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and condition of

service) Act, 1996 (27 of 1996) and Bihar Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation

of Employment and condition of service) (Amendment) Rules, 2016, (Rule 284-A), the

Government of Bihar makes following amendment in the Para-B(ii) of Notification No. B.C.W.C-

62/2016 L.R.-34 dated 16.01.2017.

B(ii). Grant for purchase of Bicycle.— After purchasing the Bicycle, eligible construction

workers will submit the receipt. On the basis of sanction of DLC of the district, the Bihar Building

and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board will reimburse the amount of receipt or Rs.

3500/- (Rupees Three thousand Five hundred), whichever will be minimum. Since, this benefit

will be provided to the registered construction workers only once in the whole period of

membership, hence those registered construction workers who have already availed this benefit

would not be entitled for the same.

Rest of the Notification No. B.C.W.C-62/2016 L.R.-34 dated 16.01.2017 will remain

unchanged.
