No. 21/S.S.C.-(Rules)-06/2017-3135/Ka— In exercise of the powers conferred under

sub-section (1) of section-12 of the Bihar Staff Selection Commission Act, 2002 (Bihar

Act, 7, 2002), the State Government of substitutes the Rule-5 of the Bihar Staff Selection

Commission Conduct of Examination Rules, 2010 by the following with immediate effect :–

‘’5. (1) The examination shall be held in the following two or more stages :-

(a)

Preliminary examination

(One or More than one stages)

The preliminary examination shall be conducted in more than one stages if

the number of applications is more than four lakhs. ‘'

(b)

Main examination

(2) The Commission it self shall be competent to take decision for the conduct of

Computer based examination for any examinatioin."
