No.L/H.G.-16-01/2017- 2734—In exercise of the powers conferred under section-13 of

Bihar Home Guards Act, 1947, the Governor of Bihar is hereby please to propose to amend the

Bihar Home Guards Rules, 1953 the draft as per given below of which is hereby published under

subsection (1) of section 13 of the Act for the information of the persons likely to be affected

there by and a notice is hereby given that any objection or suggesation may be filed before the

Principal Secretary, Home Department, Government of Bihar, Old Secretariat patna-15 within

thirty days from the date of it's publication in the official gazette.

Any objection or Suggestion received within the presribed period may be considered by

the Department:-

Proposed Amendment

Rule-16, of the Bihar Home Guards Rules, 1953-

Clause (ii) of subrule (2) of Rule 16 of the said Rules, 1953 shall be substituted by the

following:-

" (ii)

Director General, Home Guards, Bihar, Patna will have the power to hear appeal

application preferred by appellant within thirty days from the date of

communication of the order of punishment passed by the Competent Authority."
