The 20^th September 2018

No. 11/New Excise Policy-01-03/2015-2577—In exercise of the powers conferred

under Section 13 of The Bihar Molasses (Control) Act, 1947 (Bihar Act-vi of 1947) the

Governor of Bihar is pleased to make the following amendment in The Bihar Molasses

(Control) Rules, 1955.

In The Bihar Molasses (Control) Rules, 1955 the following sub rule (F1) of Rule-3

shall be substituted by the following:-

“3(F1)(i) -

After receipt of report in form MF 3 from all the Sugar Factories

situated in the State of Bihar, the controller of Molasses will calculate

the total production of Molasses and may allow the excess molasses

more than the requirement of molasses based distilleries to be

exported out the State as the controller of molasses deems fit for the

year 2018-19."

(ii)

The molasses shall be exported through GPS enabled, digitally locked

vehicles.

(iii) The export of Molasses out of the state shall be chargeable by Rs.10/-

(Ten) per quintal export fee excluding GST.

This notification shall come into force with effect from the date of its

publication in official Gazette.
