S.O. 258, Dated 4^th October 2018— In exercise of power conferred by Section 22(h) of

the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of

Service) Act 1996 (27 of 1996) and 284A of Bihar Building and Other Construction Workers

(Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) (Amendment) Rule 2016, the

Government of Bihar makes following provision to enhance the amount of “Payment of Funeral

Assistance Scheme.”

Payment of Funeral Assistance Scheme :- The Board will sanction an enhanced

amount of Rs. 5000/- in place of Rs. 1000/- to the nominees/dependents of a deceased member

of registered construction workers towards funeral expenses.

Rest of the para of said scheme will remain same.
