RESOLUTION

The 23^rd October 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred under the provisions contained in first Schedule and

under section 26(2) of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition,

Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act (No 30 of), 2013 the Governor of Bihar is pleased to determine,

in public interest, the multiplier factor for determination of compensation for the land to be acquired

for any project in rural areas and peripheral areas, on the basis of its distance from the boundary of

the municipal (urban) areas in following manner :-

(i)

For municipal corporation areas :-

(a) 0 to 08 K.M – 1.25 times

(b) 08 to 10 K.M – 1.50 times

(c) 10 and more K.M – 02 times

(ii)

For municipal council areas :-

(a) 0 to 04 K.M – 1.5 times

(b) 04 to 06 K.M – 1.75 times

(c) 06 and more K.M – 02 times

(iii)

For municipal Panchayat areas :-

(a) 0 to 02 K.M – 1.75 times

(a) 02 to 04 K.M – 1.85 times

(a) 04 and more K.M – 02 times

2. Resolution published/ issued earlier vide memo No-675, Dated-20.05.2014 of Revenue

& Land Reforms Department, Bihar, Patna is hereby repealed.

3. This order will come into effect immediately
