No. 05/Estt.(Misc.) Re.-08-56/2014-9774(S)—The State pay Commission, constituted in the

light of the recommendation of 7th Central pay Commission, has also made recommendations for

other service cadres than the pay structure. Consequent thereof, the State Government

communicated its decision by letter no. 3907 dated 7.6.2017 of Finance Department that in the

light of the recommendations made by the Commission regarding other service cadre than pay

structure, the concerned department has to take decision and issue order.

2. Commission's recommendation In Chapter 3.2 the following non financial

recommendation has been made with respect to Accounts clerk and other clerk:-

"(a)

There would not be separate cadres for different posts in regional establishments

such as Accounts clerk, store keeper, correspondence clerk, Lower Division Clerk,

Upper Division Clerk rather than they all would be named as Lower Division Clerk/

Upper Division Clerk of General Clerk Cadre. The Cadre of Accounts Clerk would be

a dying cadre and no new appointment would be made on the said post."

3. Therefore, in view of the above the Road Construction Department takes the

following decision:-

The Cadre on Accounts Clerk would be dying Cadre and all the vacant post of this

cadre would merge in Clerical Cadre.

ii.

No new recruitment/ appointment such as direct recruitment/ appointment by

promotion/ appointment on compassionate ground would be made in future on

the post of Account Clerk in the Road Construction Department.

iii.

Aforesaid decision would come in force with immediate effect. But the Junior

Accounts Clerk/Senior Accounts Clerk working on that post would continue on their

respective post and the post, which would fell vacant, would be deemed to be

merged automatically in the General Clerical Cadre.
