No. G/Vividh-20-19/2018-1617— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of
Section 9 of the Manoeuvers, Field Firing and Artillery Practices Act, 1938 (Act of 5 of 1938), the
Governor of Bihar is hereby pleased to notify his intention to authorise under sub-section (2) of the
said section of the Act to carry out field firing and artillery practice throughout the area in the
Schedule hereto annexed or in its any specified part during the period of ten years commencing from
1st October, 2018 and ending with 30th September, 2028. A notification as required by sub-section
(1) of the said section, defining the said area as an area within which for the period of ten years
commencing from 1st October, 2018 and ending with 30th September, 2028 the carrying out
periodically of field firing and artillery practice may be authorized, has been previously published in
the extraordinary issue of Bihar official Gazette, dated.03.12.2018 with S.O. 10698 dated the
30.11.2018.
The map of the land details mentioned in schedule may be inspected in the office of District
Magistrate, Gaya.

Details and boundary of the land-area
107.48 acres of land in village-Barwadih, Thana No.-327, P.S.- Barachatti, District-Gaya,
has been transferred to Central Reserve Police Force vide Declaration No. 15/D.L.A.- Gaya C.R.P.F.
Cobra/1304/Ra. dated 08.12.2009 of the Revenue and Land reforms Department, Bihar, Patna for
creation of 205-Cobra Battalion. 100 mt. Baffle Firing Range is constructed within the premises of
the Battalion and is surrounded by a boundary wall. The details and boundary of Firing Range is
given below :-

Forest area.
This notification shall come in to force from the date of issue.
