No. 8/misc-10-74/2017-H.P.-9188--In exercise of powers conferred under the

proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India read with section 55 and section 94 of

Bihar Police Act, 2007 the Governor of Bihar is hereby pleased to make the following Rules

to amend the Bihar Police Driver Cadre Rules, 2017 (as amended from time to time):-

Short title, extent and commencement.- (1) These Rules may be called the "Bihar

Police Driver (second amendment) Rules, 2019.

(2) It extend to the whole State of Bihar.

(3) It shall come into force at once.

Rule, 6 (1)(b) of Bihar Police Driver Cadre Rules, 2017 (as amended from time to

time) shall be substituted by the following:-

"(b) Height and Chest- It will compulsory for the candidates to have the following

minimum height and chest measurements:-
