No. Van Ara. Astha- 14/2012-98/E.F& CC--In exercise of the powers conferred

by proviso to Article- 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Bihar is pleased

to make the following Rules to amend the Bihar Subordinate Services Rules, 2013 (as

amended from time to time):-

1. Short title, extent and commencement :-

These Rules may be called the “Bihar Subordinates Forest Services

(Amendment) Rules, 2019”.

It shall extend to the whole of the State of Bihar.

It shall come into force with effect from the date of its publication in the

official gazette.

2. Substitution of Para 6(ii) and 6(iii) of Appendix-A of the Bihar

Subordinate Forest Service Rules 2013 - Para 6(ii) and 6(iii) of Appendix-

A of the said Rules shall be substituted by the followings :-

6(ii) The concerned appointing officers of Forest Division of the Bihar State, in

anticipation of police character verification of the candidates, who have

been recommended by the Commission could appoint them provisionally

in prescribed way.

6(iii) The permanent appointment of the candidates shall be done from the date of

provisional appointment after getting the character verification of the

Police. In case of adverse verification, the candidate's services shall be

terminated immediately.

3. Substitution of Para 7(ii) and 7(iii) of Appendix-B of the Bihar

Subordinate Forest Service Rules 2013 - Para 7(ii) and 7(iii) of Appendix-

B of the said Rules shall be substituted by the followings :-

7(ii) The concerned appointing officers of Forest Circle of the Bihar State, in

anticipation of police character verification of the candidates, who have

been recommended by the Commission could appoint them provisionally

in prescribed way.

7(iii) The permanent appointment of the candidates shall be done from the date of

provisional appointment after getting the character verification of the

Police. In case of adverse verification, the candidate's services shall be

terminated immediately.
