The 5^th March 2020

S. O. 89 dated the 6^th March 2020---In exercise of the powers conferred by section-3 of

the Bihar Special Courts Act, 2009, the Government of Bihar in consultation with the High

Court of Judicature at Patna, is pleased to substitute the words "for trial under Section 7 of the

offence as defined under Section 2(e) of the Bihar Special Courts Act, 2009" used in para-1 of

Notification

No.-2549

dated-27.03.2019

(S.O.-82

dated-29.03.2019)

of

the

Law

Department,Bihar,Patna by the words "for conducting the proceeding including trial under

section 7 of the offence as defined under section 2(e) of the Bihar Special Courts Act, 2009

except such of the powers conferred upon the authorized officer under chapter III of the Bihar

Special Courts Act, 2009"

2. The already issued departmental Notification No.-2549 dated 27.03.2019 (S.O.-82

dated 29.03.2019) is amended to this extent.

3. This notification shall come into force with effect from the date of its publication in

official Gazette.
