of Coal vide S.O. No. 874 dated 28.09.2020 the published in the Gazette of India Part-II –
section 3 – sub section (ii) is hereby republished in the official Gazette of Bihar for General
information.

New Delhi, the 28th September, 2020
SO 874 Whereas by notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal
number S.O, 1795, dated the 13th December, 2018 under sub-section (I) of section 4 of the
Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) ACT, 1957 (20of 1957) (hereinafter
referred to as the said Act) and published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3. Sub-
section (ii), dated the December 16 - December 22, 2018 (weekly)] the Central Government
gave notice of its intention to prospect for coal in land measuring 2773-639 hectares
(approximately) or 6853.664 acres (approximately) in the locality specified in the Schedule
appended thereto.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the said Act, the
Central Government hereby specifies a further period of one year commencing from the 13th
December, 2020, as the period within which the Central Government gives notice of its
intention to acquire the said land or any rights in or over the said land specified in the
Schedule appended hereto.
