The 20th February 2021

S.O. G/Sena-05-06/2017- 1326—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section

(2) of section 9 of the Maneuvers, Field Firing and Artillery Practices Act, 1938 (Act 5 of

1938), the Governor of Bihar is pleased to authorize, during the period commencing from

the 29.09.2020 and ending on the 28.09.2030, the carrying out of Field Firing and artillery

practice throughout the area described in the schedule hereto annexed. A notification, as

required by sub-section (1) of the said section, defining the said area as the area within

which for a period of ten years commencing from the 29.09.2020 and ending on the

28.09.2030, the carrying out field firing and artillery practices periodically, in the extra-

ordinary issue of the “Bihar official Gazette”, dated the 01.10.2020 with S.O. No 5058

dated the 29.09.2020 and a notification in respect of the same as required by sub-section (3)

of the said section publishing the intention to issue this notification has been previously

published in extra-ordinary issue of the “Bihar Gazette”, dated the 22.12.2020 with S.O.

No.- 6796, dated the 18.12.2020.

Schedule-1

Particulars and boundary of the land-area.

The length and width of the 100 meter baffle firing range situated in the Group

Center, Central Reserve Police Force, Mokama Ghat, Patna is 100 meter and 30 meter

respectively. Its boundry wall is approximately 30 feet high. River Ganga is situated in the

north of the firing range. There is no population in the south direction. Village

Sikahrichak is located in south at a distance of 100 meter. CRPF camp is situated in

the east and in the west side a crematory, guard room, roofed sitting place and barren

land is situated at a distance of 1 kilometer. The above mentioned land is given to The
