NO. G/Sena(Fi.Ra.)-05-02/2020-7981— In exercise of the powers conferred by
sub- section (2) of section 9 of the Manoeuvers, Field Firing and Artillery Practices Act,
1938 (Act 5 of 1938), the Governor of Bihar is pleased to authorize, during the period
commencing from the 10.06.2021 and ending on the 09.06.2031, the carrying out of
Field Firing and artillery practice throughout the area, described in the schedule hereto
annexed. A notification, as required by sub-section (1) of the said section, defining the
said area as the area within which for a period of ten years commencing from the
10.06.2021 and ending on the 09.06.2031, the carrying out field firing and artillery
practices periodically, in the extra-ordinary issue of the “Bihar official Gazette”, dated
the 15.06.2021 with S.O. No 3087 dated the 10.06.2021 and a notification in respect of
the same as required by sub-section (3) of the said section publishing the intention to
issue this notification has been previously published in extra-ordinary issue of the “Bihar
Gazette”, dated the 13.08.2021 with S.O. No.- 5251, dated the 12.08.2021

Particulars and boundary of the land-area.
Long and Short Firing Ranges (Chandmari Firing Butt) are established in Bihar
Special Armed Police-2 Battalian Campus, which is situated in thana no 175, Mauja-
Bastipur, Circle+P.S.- Dehri, Dist.-Rohtas. Boundary and land details of these firing
ranges are as follows :-
