Notification

No.-02@08&01@2021&7443@ifj0-—Considering the difficulties faced by the

officers/employees of the Government sector and Private sector, who are transferred from

one state to another state and face diffculties in transfer of their private vehicle, the BH-

Series has been introduced by Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of

India through notification no.- GSR-594(E), dated-26.08.2021 by amending the rule-47, 48,

50, 51 & 54 of Central Motor Vehicle Rule, 1989, for the enforcement of the same in the

State of Bihar, exercising the power conferred by section-6 (d) of Bihar Motor Vehicle

Taxation (as amended) Act, 1994 read with Bihar Motor Vehicle Taxation (amendment) Act,

2016, after the detail of schedule-1 part (A) of notification no.-5786, dated-07.12.2018 issued

under section-9 of the Bihar Finance Act, 2013 read with section 7 (1) of Bihar Motor

Vehicle Taxation Act, 1994, one note is being added in the following way :-

"Note-

In the cases of registration in BH-Series, the provisions made by

notification no.GSR-594(E), dated-26.08.2021 of Ministry of Road

Transport and Highways, Government of India, shall be enforced in

the State of Bihar as it is."

This notification shall come into effect from the date of its publication in

Bihar Gazette.
