No P.A.-1/V.M.(Salary & Allowances of Members)-05-02/2011(part)-1090—In

exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Bihar Legislature (Salary, Allowances

and Pension of Members) Act, 2006 (Act No. 16,2006), the Governor of Bihar makes the

following amendments in Bihar Legislature (Pay, Allowances and Pension of Members)

Rules, 2006:-

Bihar Legislature (Pay Allowances and Pension of the Members)

(Amendment) Rules, 2013

Short title and commencement-

(1)

These Rules may be called the Bihar Legislature (Pay, Allowances

and Pension of Members) (Amendment) Rules, 2013

(2)

They shall come into force from the date of issue of notification.

Amendment in Rule 8(a), (b)(iv), (b)(v) and (d)(iv) of the said Rules,

2006-

The figure, word and bracket "Rs. 15/- (fifteen)" used in fifth line of 8(a), first line of

(b)(iv), third line of fourth and fifth proviso of (b)(v) and first line of (d)(iv) of Bihar

Legislature (Pay, Allowances and Pension of Members) Rules, 2006 shall be substituted by

the figure, words and bracket "Rs. 20/- (twenty)".
