Bihar Targeted Public Distribution System (Control) Amendment Order, 2022

G.S.R. 03, dated the 6^th April, 2022--In exercise of power conferred by Section 3

and Section 5 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (Central Act 10 of 1955), read with

Clause 15 of the Targeted Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2015, issued by GSR

213 (E) dated 20th March, 2015 by Government of India, Ministry of Consumer Affairs,

Food and Public Distribution (Department of Food and Public Distribution), the Governor

of Bihar is hereby pleased to make the following orders :

1. Short title and commencement (1) This order may be called the "Bihar Targeted

Public Distribution System (Control) Amendment Order, 2022".

(2) It shall come into force form the date of publication in the official gazette.

A new Clause after Clause 32 (vii) shall be added in Bihar Targeted Public

Distribution System (Control) Order, 2016, as follows:

"32(viii).

District Officers may delegate the powers conferred to him under

Clause 32 (i) of the Bihar Targeted Public Distribution System

(Control) Order, 2016, to the officers not below the rank of Additional

District Magistrate posted in the district."
