No.-6/Agni0Se0-01-16/2021H.P-9357--In exercise of Powers Conferred under

proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India and section 63 of the Bihar Fire

Service Act, 2014 (Bihar Act 6, of 2014), the Governor of Bihar, is pleased to make the

following amendment Rules to amend the “Bihar Fire Service Rules, 2021” :-

1. Short title, extent and commencement.- (1) These Rules may be called “The

“Bihar Fire Service (Amendment) Rules, 2022”

(2). It shall extend to the whole of the State of Bihar.

(3). It shall come into force from the day of publication in the official Gazette.

2. In these Rule, post equivalence column of Rule 4 (A) shall be modified and

column of Name and designation under Rule 4 (A) shall be substituted with the

following:–

(A) Senior Service Cadre (gazetted) :-

Equivalent to Senior Deputy Superintendent of

Police. (Gazetted, Pay Level-11)

Equivalent to Deputy Superintendent of Police.
