years of age to appear in the competitive examination.

Government have, therefore, decided that non-gazetted employees of the State

Government (either temporary or permanent) and temporary gazetted officers,

who have put in at least 3 years continuous service and who are under 35 years of

age, on the 1st day of August last preceding the month in which the combined

competitive examination is held, may be permitted to appear in the examination,

Government servant can take between the ages of 26 and 35 (or 40) should be
