The 29^th December 2022

S.O 488 dated 30 December 2022—In exercise of the powers conferred by

Sub-Section (1) of Section 13 and Sub-Section (1) of Section-14 of the Bengal, Agra and

Assam Civil Courts Act, 1887 (Act No.-XII of 1887) and Sub-Section (3) of Section 9 of the

code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act 2 of 1974) and in modification of all the previous

orders and notification issued on the subject the Governor of Bihar is pleased to direct that-

(a)

The Court of Additional District Judge of Gaya Judgeship shall now be held at

Sherghati also for the disposal of cases arising in the district of Gaya and

(b)

The Court of Additional Sessions Judge of Gaya Session Division shall now

also hold its sittings at Sherghati for the disposal of such cases as may arise

within the local limits of Sherghati Sub-Division;

(c)

This Notification shall come into force with effect from 03^rdJanuary, 2023.
