No. 11@ek0vk0¼LFkkŒ½&03@2015&178¼11½—In exercise of powers conferred by proviso to

Article-309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Bihar is pleased to make following Rules to

amend the Bihar State Institute of Mental Health and Allied Sciences Rules, 2005:-

Short title, extent & commencement.—

(1) These Rules may be called as the “Bihar State Institute of Mental Health and

Allied Sciences (Amendment) Rules, 2023."

(2) In shall extent to the whole of the state of Bihar.

(3) It shall come into force from effect from the date of as publication in official

gazette.

2. Subsitution of clause (1) Rule-4 of the Bihar State Institute of Mental Health and

Allied Sciences Rules, 2005,.- Clause (1) of Rule-4 of the said Rules shall be substituted by the

following:-

"4. Management Committee:- (1) The State Institute of Mental Health and Allied

Sciences shall be an autonomous institution and its management shall be vested

in a Management Committee which shall be constituted consisting of the

experience of atleast 5 year in Public Health/Social Work/Counselling in Mental Health field.
